Utah is high on my list for places to go drive pic1. As a matter of fact, the ~200 mile or so drive from Fruitland west through SLC towards the Nevada border is on my short list of best rides in America. What makes it so nice? Well, throughout the entire drive the roads are very good while the views are exceptionally good. Leaving SLC westwards the mountainous drive gives way to the Salt Flats... a region that should be known to any driving enthusiast worth his salt (and boy is there a lot of salt there! :-) pic2 Another world-class ride is the one that goes through Mt. Zion NP (9) towards St. Andrews (15) pic3 and then down through twisty, beautiful and oh-so-fun-to-drive canyons to the AZ-NV desert.pic4
